Da circa un anno sto sviluppando il tema degli Arcani maggiori in pittura. Alcuni sono stati immediati e come già presenti negli occhi prima ancora di aver dato loro la forma definitiva. Altri, come l’Arcano 15, soffrono di più nella gestazione, vuoi per la complessità del tema, vuoi perché nulla é caso. Le riflessioni sulla situazione di decadenza, di frammentazione europea, la barbarie della avidità che opprime e violenta la dignità di intere nazioni, la costante demolizione di diritti sociali costati sangue e guerre, lo smantellamento dell’istruzione e della sanità portano inesorabilmente a farsi la domanda: cos’è il male?

La radice greca di diavolo è dia-balléin, “dividere”, e il suo esatto contrario è sym-balléin (simbolo) e cioè unire. Gli antichi identificavano il Male nella tendenza entropica, nella disgregazione, nella babele linguistica.

Io lo vedo nelle guerre tra poveri, nel femminicidio, nelle eterne diatribe sui social, nello stare chiusi in casa, ognuno nel proprio appartamento, guardando telefilm pressoché necrofili. Nei Tarocchi l’Arcano 15 però indica anche una grande forza tellurica che in certi frangenti è una riserva inesauribile. Ho usato quindi una potente foto di scena (ph. Xavier Marquis) del musicista belga Dirk Ivens, e il testo della sua canzone, Blood Money. Un titolo non a caso. La riflessione sul tema economico è quella che sta attraversando tutto il pianeta. Il denaro è appunto, sangue, ossigenazione,  VEICOLO e nutriente per le cellule. In sé non è né bene né male, ma una insaziabile oligarchia di vampiri (e io sono esperta) lo sta suggendo al resto del pianeta. Ad alcuni umani, loro servi,  hanno promesso l’immortalità.Tutti gli  altri sei miliardi sono solo prede di cui sputare le ossa al mattino dopo.

The Greek root of devil is dia-ballein, “divide”, and its exact opposite is sym-ballein (symbol) that is joined. The ancients identified Evil in entropic tendency, in the break, the linguistic Babel.

I feel him in the wars between poors, in femicide, in the eternal struggles on social, in being locked in the house, each in his own apartment, watching TV shows virtually necrophiliacs. In the Tarot Arcanum 15, however, also indicates that a large telluric force in certain situations is an inexhaustible reserve. I then used a powerful scene photos (ph. Xavier Marquis) of the Belgian musician Dirk Ivens, and the text of his song, Blood Money. A title is no coincidence. The reflection on the economic issue is one that is going through the entire planet. The money is in fact, blood oxygenation, and nourish cells. In itself it is neither good nor evil, but an insatiable oligarchy of vampires is sucking the rest of the planet. For some humans, their servants, they promised immortality. All other six billion are just prey that spit out the bones in the morning after.
